At Radio Lisburn Live we are currently on the lookout out for volunteer presenters who would like to give some time to a great new community project.  We will value the people who choose to spend their time with us making great radio programmes for local people. As volunteer you are the radio station, and we want to develop new presenters so they can reach their full potential as volunteer broadcasters.

Each Radio Lisburn Live presenter will receive industry standard broadcasting basic training before going on air. Depending on what area of the radio station you want to work in these are just some of the skills you will learn –

On-air basics, including voice and structure.

How to use the studio equipment.

1. What you can and can’t say on air.
2. How to develop your personality on-air.
3. Interview skills.

Production Team

1. Working with our playout software.
2. Creating audio projects such as commercials.
3. Learning to direct talent and get the best out of them.
